All-ACC RBs

The two first team All-ACC running backs were deserving choices.

1765 5.9 26 39 James Conner Pitt SO
1652 6.8 10 38 Duke Johnson Mia JR

Tech’s Zack Laskey (above) was fortunate to earn second team All-ACC, despite missing several games and having to share playing time in several others. Not so sure how Kevin Parks made second team.

851 5.0 09 16 Zack Laskey GT SR

Both third team backs (both freshmen) outrushed the two second team backs (both seniors) – as did two of the three honorable mention backs.

  860 4.1 13 10 Jon Hillman BC FR

For Tech to have two backs playing the same position both make All-ACC is a testament to their season.

689 4.6 11 08 Karlos Williams FSU SR
924 5.9 09 07 Synjin Days GT SR

Two ACC quarterbacks were outrushed by only two ACC running backs. After finishing 9th in the nation in Total QB Rating it is a shame that Tyler Murphy did not make any All-ACC team.

1086 5.7 08 18 Justin Thomas

1775 5.4 18 - Laskey and Days combined outrushed ACC player of the year James Conner by ten yards. Add third stringer Matt Connors' 113 yards and two touchdowns and the comparison grows even wider: 1888 yards.

The ACC gods must angry since the list lacked a single running back from UNC, Wake Forest, Clemson, or Duke.
