Augusta National club champion Jeff Knox made another appearance yesterday. His 74 was three strokes more than playing partner Eddie Pepperell but equal or better than ten actual competitors.
Another story coming out of Augusta today: the tournament was won by Tiger Woods. His son and daughter, accompanied by Woods' mother and girlfriend, finally got to see him win a major.
On Friday Woods survived an encounter with an energetic GBI agent. After the win Nike debuted a new Tiger commercial.
Each day he wore a different color.
Note the praying hands logo on the heel (above). Finau is a Mormon who grew up in Salt Lake City, taking up golf to avoid neighborhood gangs.
Last year Finau famously sprained his ankle celebrating a hole in one at the Wednesday par three tournament. The high ankle sprain would've kept an NFL player out for weeks, but Finau played through the pain for the next four days. https://www.golf-monthly.co.uk/tour/us-masters/masters-news/tony-finau-posts-pictures-of-ankle-153852
Finau wasn't the only one wearing Air Max.
Jason Day wore the all-white version.
Day famously wore Air Force Ones in last year's British Open.
