ESPN's Top NBA Jerseys

ESPN ranked the top 74 jerseys in NBA history. Wanted to see where the Maravich-era Hawks jerseys ranked, and so to better digest the list I decided to type them all out. The article lists key players who wore each uniform. In all only one case was I not aware of who any of the players listed was.

Philadelphia tops the list with eight jerseys. Atlanta’s best three made the list: the 60’s Bob Petit-era baby blue (#4 below), the 79’s Maravich-era lime green (#1), and the 80’s Dominique Pac Man red (#8).

I might’ve ranked the Celtics ahead of the Lakers, but they got the top three right. You know the writers were loving on the Lakers when they ranked their seldom used white jerseys in the top 30. More than usual discussion of this article on social media yesterday. Usually uniform lists get less attention. Perhaps because it is the NBA.
