Man of Many Uniforms

Carlton Fisk was number 27 in Boston, but since that number was taken in Chicago he wore 72. For only having played for two teams, Fisk might've worn more different than anyone else. Here are just a few.
CARLTON FISK [SABR Bio] is whom Ivan Rodriguez passed on the all-time board for most career major league games played at catcher. Pudge passed Pudge when he caught his 2,278th G on 17-Jun-2009. Fisk had held that title for 16 of Ivan's 24 seasons in the majors. Fisk is the oldest player in history to collect a hit in a major league All-Star Game. He was 43 years, 6 months and 14 days old when he singled in the 1991 ASG. It is believed that he used too much bleach while laundering his hosiery one day in Spring Training 1981. Granted free agency by the Red Sox in Feb. 1981. Signed by the White Sox a month later. His brother was an All-Star Yankee. Fisk's older brother, Calvin, was captain of the soccer team and an All-Yankee Conference sweeper at the University of New Hampshire.
Found a potato chip shaped like the state of Georgia.
Bocce. Lots of people play it on the beach. Nice when we used to sit out on the beach under a tent and we could watch other people playing a game out in front of us, be it bocce, cornhole, or just throwing a football or baseball. Didn't like it when an overzealous father would turn his kids' beach vacation into a workout session for his daughter or son to be pitching out there on the beach in front of a bunch of tourists.
Recently saw an ad for a game similar to cornhole, but instead of tossing beanbags onto a wooden platform with a hole, instead you chip golf balls through the hole.

Slow news day.

News: yesterday afternoon I drove over to work. Left at 3:30-ish. Stopped by Wendy's for a frosty. Now at work they're taking everyone's temperature before you can go in. Did a little work. Stopped by the post office on the way home.

Supper was roast beef, sour cream potatoes, and tossed salad. Ceil has been watching these TV shows about the life of Jesus. Pretty good. Not sure what network.

Work: a clerk was furloughed today. To take her place one of my team members was taken off our team to work for the other department. I'll have to take on additional duties.

Best and worst things to buy at Costco. BBQ sauce isn't mentioned, but at the rate I consume it, perhaps I should consider it.

Not: laundry detergent has a shelf life, books, ground coffee, fresh fruit and vegetables, spices have a shelf life, Kirkland brand facial tissue, Coca-Cola is usually on sale somewhere else, shampoo or soap, condiments have to be refrigerated after opening, salsa comes in huge containers, toothpaste is often on sale at grocery stores, Kirkland light beer (was discontinued).

Buy: Kirkland real maple syrup is a good deal, uncooked cookies from the bakery: 120 for $23, toilet paper & paper towels, Kirkland organic extra virgin olive oil, gas (we do), frozen fruit (we do), vanilla extract, tires, cereal (me: store brand cereal is cheaper), plastic wrap, single-serve oatmeal (filled with sugar), healthy bite sized snacks (not so sure about that), cashews, single serve sized snacks (still not a good value), Kirkland vitamins, batteries, milk, Keurig coffee cups, $4.99 rotisserie chicken (a loss leader), peanut butter (cheaper than store brand? No), bagels
