Yesterday Will and his fam flew to Denver, then took another flight to northern Colorado, then a third flight further west. Then drove 3 more hours and are now camping west of Seattle.
So they traveled about as far as one could travel across the continental US. Sleeping in a tent. Shivvy brought along her potty.
Watch Memphis play in Salt Lake last night? I saw some of the game. Wanted to see that rookie center, but he wasn't playing when I was watching. Tuesday supper: chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad.
Seven at men's Bible study last night. My friend Lee led, about persecution. Was sitting next to Dan Arnold and mentioned that I had attended SPdL. I've known Dan for as long as I've been in this class, well over 5 years, maybe ten. Dan told me he went to SPdL from 1992-1996. Knew Scot Wright and had attended Jim Suggs' class. Small world. Need to see if he's in one of the church directories, but he might've come and gone between them. Dan Arnold used to work in ad sales for radio stations, but the past few years has traveled the world in global missions.
Got new tires for Ceil's car this morning. Later I finished cleaning out Matthew's car, checked the air in the tires, got his oil changed, and dropped it off to hopefully get the emissions tested. Need to do the same this week for Ceil's car. Plenty to do. Some vacation. Supper tonight: spaghetti and spinach.
Last night the Braves won their second straight from last year's NL champs.
