Golfing With the Kids

Will's idea to play golf at sunrise. Caleb and Anna signed on. Anna had taken lessons, but this would be her first actual round of golf. We teed off about 6:10 am - W and C from the back tees, me and A from the front. W and I made decent drives. C went left, and A a flub (below).

A made a decent fairway shot, leaving her a chip to the green. Same with me. C made a nice chip onto the green. I had a long par look, but 3 putted.
2. W and C both found the green on their tee shots. Mine was short and left. I chipped over the green but made a nice chip back. Two putted for a double.
3. W's tee shot rolled to the back fringe. C flew his over but made a nice chip back. A had a nice tee shot to the front fringe (below), but struggled the rest of the way. I flubbed my tee shot, got a decent roll, then chipped to the back fringe before three putting (double).
4. W and C (below) overshot the green. I flubbed but got another good roll. A's tee shot was the best, further than mine. She chipped to the back of the green, then almost made her 60 foot lag putt for par. My chip was decent, and I two putted for bogey (I think).
5. My tee shot stayed left. Chipped to the fringe. A flubbed her tee shot, but her approach found the green. C and W (both below) both had their tee shots stay right.
C made a good chip from behind a tree. I chipped and three putted for a triple.
Caleb's head cover.
6. W and C had trouble hitting tee shots from the far back tee. A and I hit decent tee shots from the front. After a flub I hit a decent approach to the front left fringe. Chip and two putt (I think) for a double.
7. C and W got great distance, but bailed out safely in the 8th fairway. Anna had a good drive that stayed left, most of the way up the hill (below). I hit my shot of the day, a high straight hybrid most of the way up the hill that caught the early morning sun during its flight. After a flub I knocked my third shot onto the green - then two putted for bogey.
8. Will cranked his tee shot down the hill to the right of the green. C hit left, up the hill. I flubbed mine. Anna's tee shot stayed straight (below). She and I hit decent approach shots, just not far enough.
Will chipped onto the green, and sank this birdie putt.
9. Not sure any of us hit good tee shots. Will's was in the fairway. A flubbed hers. C and I went right. I made a decent chip, as did C. Anna hit her approach onto the green, just another of her many good shots. We finished at 8:15 am. A fun morning.
On this shot Anna noticed from the picture that she didn't have her hands in the right position.
