Gridlock

Traffic on the downtown connector may have been light yesterday, but down around Centennial Park and the World Congress Center cars were gridlocked. Sat on Marietta Street four car length from Baker Street for 30 minutes - even though a policeman was "directing traffic" at the light. Several cars made U-turns. Eventually I turned right on Baker and parked next to the Georgia Dome and new Falcons stadium, and walked into the Running Expo to pick up our Peachtree numbers. So did the other 60,000 runners.

With traffic management like this, no wonder the Braves are moving out of downtown.
