Hated not having the players in their team's uniforms. Sounded like I wasn't the only one. The civic pride for fans is a big part of watching. I don't mind the all-navy unis, sometimes worn by the White Sox, Cubs, and other teams. Good suggestion: to honor Hank they shudda used 76 Brewers road template for the AL and Braves 74 home feather uni template for the NL.
Freddie Freeman's son Charlie stole in show, both in the red carpet and getting to meet his hero Tatis.
My favorite part was all the local political ads blasting MLB and the powers that be that robbed Georgia fans and small businesses of an all star game at Truist Park.
Also watched a good chunk of the ESPYs. Can't believe they ran it up against the all-star game. Didn't seem like the event was attended by the luminaries of sport. Has the ESPYs jumped the shark? They certainly aren't marketed toward my demographic. Almost unwatchable.
The ESPYs host mentioning the Falcons' Super Bowl collapse over four years ago wasn't exactly cutting edge. Otherwise he did a decent job. Interesting to hear the few award winners give glory and honor to God, like UCONN's Paige Bueckers - who seemed embarrassed to beat out all the black women athletes. The Ironman triathlete with Down's Syndrome apologized for his accent being too much like a Southern accent - were those really his own words?
Why does Tim Tebow dress like he does? Why not dress like Peyton or Eli or Brady or Russell Wilson.
Buck Belue's Top 10 QBs In the Deep South. Nice old Buck hates to speak unkindly of an athlete. Coral has the resume, and everyone loves Sam (except me). Has Sam ever won a big game? Buck has ranked some high so when they get beat, he can act surprised. He was nice to include GT's Sims as an honorable mention, but jabbed at rival Florida by not ranking Emory Jones higher (though the HM rank may be justified).

There is no middle ground. No space for skepticism. No room for debate." This ideology intends to succeed Christianity, and views biblical morality as oppressive, discriminatory, and dangerous. In their view, beliefs and institutions that do not align with their ideology must be removed and replaced. The so-called Equality Act is just one example of this rising tide of secularism. Its advocates embrace its tenets with a zeal akin to religious fervor. We are witnessing the rise of a secular religion.
