Lots of UGA fans complain about Kirby, wondering if he’ll ever win a national championship. When Saban was Kirby’s age (46), Nick was 28-16 and 0-3 in bowl games. Saban didn’t win his first title until he was 52. Kirby is 46 and coaching in his second national championship game.
In his first six years Kirby has already won 4 of the big 6 bowl games: the Rose, Orange, Sugar, and Peach – something only five other coaches have done.

Paul Finebaum picked Bama, but that’s no surprise. Charles Barkley admits to being a terrible picker, but picked UGA. Also no surprise, being from Auburn.

Leftovers Friday night. Housework Saturday. M and C cooked Mexican on Saturday night, which included baked burritos. Leftovers on Sunday. C wasn’t feeling 100% so we did church from home.
Saturday W&MC headed to North Georgia to celebrate their anniversary. We got to see Shivonne when they dropped Okie off. They return today.
