The Breakers of the USFL played in Boston, Portland, and New Orleans. Nice shade of blue. Groundbreaking helmet logo. Back when jerseys had sleeves.

My CRV had a key that tore up when I changed the battery. Had to get a new key. The battery ran out. I don’t want the key to break, so I use it in the door to unlock the old fashioned way. Only drawback is that I can’t open the door for C.

I have several little jars of vitamins in my desk at work that I take: C, D, fish oil, baby aspirin. Today I had left the drawer open and a coworker walked past and commented on them. I made sure they knew it was just vitamins !

No other player played more major league games at second base: 2,650 games. In 1968 Lou Brock tied Collins’ record for most career World Series stolen bases (14).

HONUS WAGNER  [SABR Bio] was the only infielder elected to the Hall of Fame with the first class, in 1936 with Cobb, Ruth, Walter Johnson, and Christy Mathewson. Played 86% of his games in the infield, more than 75% of the time at shortstop. He was on the losing side in the first modern World Series. In 1903 his Pirates were bested by Boston, 5-3. He was the first player in the twentieth century to reach 3,000 hits, on 08-Jun-1914.

DENISON: God "gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done" (Romans 1:28). He allows us the consequences of our misused freedom. The innocent are often harmed by these consequences as well. If nations and people do not repent, God then works directly to punish sin and lead sinners to repentance. The plagues of Egypt were divine judgment against King Herod (Acts 12:23). Also the cataclysmic judgments in the book of Revelation. It is plausible that Russia is experiencing God's judgment on its immoral invasion. If Putin persists, he and his people could see God's punitive judgment. "An evil person will not go unpunished" (Proverbs 11:21). "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). God's judgment on sin is sure (Hebrews 9:27).

Another reason I’m trying to cut down on social media: opinions are like assholes – everybody has one. So many bad takes that aren’t worth reading. Plus anything I think up to post has already been posted. So many reply something clever on a post – that’s already been posted ten times already. I will take the time to scan all the replies to make sure what I’m about to say hasn’t been said already.

Never realized that when Ferris and friends went to the Cubs game, his girlfriend was keeping score. Cool that they sat near Bartman.
