Movie Time

Was able to watch a few movies this weekend. Having read the Fred Rogers biography, I was interested in seeing Tom Hanks play Rogers. Excellent movie. Guilt Trip was also good.
Had to pay close attention to Sliding Doors, as the characters switch back and forth between two different plot lines.
If you can get past the excessive foul language, Funny People was a decent movie.
Played another nine holes with Robert this morning. Here he is teeing off on four.
On four I hit my tee shot onto the green, and two putted for par.
The sun had come out by the time we got to seven. I hit a low tee shot that rolled almost to the top of the hill, one of my better efforts. Robert hits an iron off every tee, no matter how long the hole.
Robert on the ninth tee.

We finished our nine holes this morning right at 8 am. Then I played a second nine by myself. Finished at 9:20, and made it to Sunday School early, already having gotten in almost 10000 steps. Twelve hours later I'm almost at 13000.

Two attractions we’ll probably miss next month on our road trip: world’s largest Frying Pan is in southeastern North Carolina.

The world’s largest Ten Commandments is on a hill in western North Carolina, near Murphy. It supposedly contains a typographical error.

Can't wait to see the Ghostbusters commercial with (R-L) Peyton, Eli, and Jerome Bettis. The baseball version is good too, with ARod, Junior, Big Papi, and The Big Unit.

Audacy Sports 2022 MLB overall uniform rankings. Braves were like 9th. They loved them some Athletics. Some people are even more desperate for content than I am.

A similar listing of “alternate” uniforms. Oakland’s green topped the list. The Braves feather unis ranked 8 or 9, though there were some ahead of the Braves that didn’t belong.
