Special speaker in Sunday School this week, whose search for God led him to Christ. When he told his family that Jesus was his savior, they beat him up. Powerful message, which included: you'll never win someone to Christ by winning a debate or argument with them. When talking to a Muslim, ask what their relationship with Allah is like (there isn't one), and share how your relationship with God is personal. His favorite verse: "take up your cross and follow me".
I hate it when there is a lot of talking but it doesn't seem like people are listening, or aware that other people want to say something. Someone says something, and when they finish a sentence and pause, someone else starts to answer them but the first speaker just keeps right on talking.
Young Josh in our office found a new Chinese place near the office we're going to have to try out.
JFBC had a Veterans Day celebration – a "parade" followed by a lunch, with a speaker who had been a POW. My Saturday AM golfing partner, a veteran with a part time job with the Hawks, was honored by the team during Wednesday night's game. He invited me to go, but it was our first Hot Stove meeting up in Cumming, and I was giving some guys a ride.

Put myself behind the 8 ball. Took off Tuesday morning. Worked from home on Wednesday from 725 to 435 with lunch at the tire place. Today I tried to catch up, clearing out emails, printing off receivers and packing slips, helping Greensboro and Shreveport and the tube mill and some other office somewhere in NC. Everything but my real job. Worked late tonight. Next week will be a busy week. Gonna be chillier, so I might not play golf one morning. We'll see.
Ran two "fast" miles at the gym this morning. I had forgotten my earbuds, so I couldn't listen to my book – so I could concentrate more on running fast. Dialed up the treadmill and paid attention to the clock. Also had ESPN on the monitor. Last week they talked all week about the Thursday night NFL game between Tampa and Baltimore, Brady vs Lamar Jackson. Almost zero talk about tonight's Falcons vs Panthers.
Had a dream where I was eating my usual junk at a picnic but Don Head was eating all good healthy food. Earlier I had gone to bed I was eating Cheetos while watching the end of Bama LSU.
