First World Problems

Looking for a car for M. He can’t afford a lease so I have to buy him a cheap car. Left work at 5 pm yesterday and drove to Cobb Parkway. 15 year old cars don’t look that great. He wants a 20 year old pickup. I am so busy with this and work and everything else that I am making bad decisions.

Out of so many items at work. Takes so long and so many channels to get something placed on order. As usual I am completely overwhelmed. For some people they can fire off an email and that’s it. I have to do the math, justify what’s needed etc etc etc enter forecasts and requests and do more math to enter into SAP, then type an email of what I just typed into SAP.

Then we pay for a home phone and we don’t even HAVE a home phone. Not sure our cell phone bill is getting paid because we don’t get a paper bill. So hard to get AT&T on the phone as if I had the time to call them.

Need to study for small group. Need to pay bills, Need to work on my taxes and other financial stuff. Laundry needs folding. Garage needs cleaning out. Need to sell more furniture and other stuff. Need to clean out my car, and clean out my desk at work. Saturday we meet with sent ones home from overseas. I need a personal assistant.

C was sick yesterday so when I got home at 730 last night I had to walk Winnie and do laundry before I could eat supper.

Should’ve gone to the gym this AM but didn’t. I did get new batteries for my bathroom scale. Not good.

The veteran I used to golf with only wants me as a friend so he will have someone to talk to. He is not interested in what I have to say. If I say something he doesn’t like, he decides he doesn’t want me as a friend. The last 3 times he wanted to play golf, he either didn’t show or cancelled at the last minute. Every relationship he has, he is the one to cut it off – jobs, churches, his wife, his friends. He needs professional help  and was seeing a counselor, but seems to think its always his boss or the doctor or his wife that’s trying to get him, or is jealous of him. Praying that the poor guy can get some help. He doesn’t want mine.

Besides all that, everything’s great. I need to be thankful for just being alive.
