BBQ Quesadillas

For lunch yesterday I ate the rest of the BBQ that Ceil had made. We were out of buns, so I made them into BBQ quesadillas. Very good.  Similar to what they serve at Taqueria, without the slaw. Should’ve taken a picture, but on the outside they’re not much to look at. Last night C made Mexican again: homemade refried beans, grilled chicken, rice, homemade salsa, shredded cheese, etc. I just piled it all together on a bed of chips (below).

Nice when people answer emails. I need to be a better texter. Never know what to say. Wonder how many emails and texts Lang gets in a day. I’ll go through 200 emails a day at work, plus the phone calls and some work texts. Bad thing is some people’s jobs are mostly solving problems by making phones calls. At the end of the phone call their work is done for the most part. With what, I do once I get off the first phone call oftentimes I have a little research project that can take 30 minutes to an hour or two to resolve. No big deal, it fits my aptitude.

Not much else. Watched a decent Hallmark Channel movie. Stayed up past eleven, as we didn’t get through with supper until nine.

The Braves latest bracket challenge will select the favorite bobblehead. Yesterday the Chipper Saves Freddie beat Sugar Skull. Today Dale Murphy has a lead on Walter Banks.
Good news: customer plans on ramping up in May.
Going to work seven days per week.

Golfer Justin Thomas recounts the day he paired up with Michael Jordan as a 16 year old.

CHILI DAVIS  [SABR Bio] is the only player to hit home runs from each side of the plate in a game for four different major league teams. Switch-hit HR for SFG, CAL, MIN & KCR. This one-time Yankee switch-hit home runs more times than Mickey Mantle did. Played for NYY 1998-99. Had 11 career games w/switch-hit HR. Mantle had ten. Halfway through the last season of his nineteen-year career, he hit into a double play and a triple play in the same game then helpfully explained that it had been a “bad biorhythms day” for him. 17-Jun-1999.

Taking most of my calls these days on the driveway.
Tomorrow: Top Five Braves shortstops.
