Last Dance

Was wondering if you would watch the ESPN series on the Chicago Bulls. ESPN is showing the uncut version and ESPN2 bleeps out all the bad language. Shame on “politically correct” ESPN for calling the 1986 Washington Bullets the Wizards. The team didn’t change the name until 1997.

In 32 months MJ won 3 championships, 3 scoring titles, named Finals MVP 3 times, named all-defense 3 times, named NBA MVP two times – and missed zero games. Pretty sure your friend LeBron never did that.

Grind House Burgers is good. There’s one in Athens we went to a few times.
Some people pay no attention to the words coming out of their own mouth. This weekend someone we know went off on a rare (for them) political rant. They dismissed one well thought out opposing viewpoint and continued the rant, then couldn’t believe it when someone else called them out. The ranter claimed they weren’t a hater – then in the very next sentence spewed out a series of hateful words and phrases. Then a series of statements without realizing they themselves were guilty of. I know Im a hypocrite, but try not to be.
If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. - Benjamin Franklin.
Slow weekend. Supper Friday was C’s enchiladas.
Saturday morning small group. Cleaned upstairs. Laundry. Dishes. C worked out in the back yard. M picked up Mexican for supper from Los Bravos.

Sunday School via computer with about 40 in attendance. Eggy boy for breakfast and leftover Mexican meat, rice, and chips for lunch. Supper was a beef soup. Folded clothes and watched a marathon of Peyton’s Places on ESPN. Later Ceil watched her Hallmark Channel shows, including When Calls the Heart.
Joined a Facebook group of guys sharing photos of old football players like UGA's Len Hauss and Duke's Mike Curtis, who just passed away.

SABR fun fact of the day: members of the 1979 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates “We Are Family” team family with relatives who also wore Major Leagues uniforms. It was apparently more than a metaphor.
