May / June Thrift Store Recap

Wool New York Giants fitted cap: So nice I couldn’t pass it up. It was too small for me, so I was thinking of selling it. Matthew has been thinking about wearing it, because it fits into his black cap wardrobe. Brett Yonker had complimented him on his black ABC Crackers cap, so he’s stuck to that one.

Authentic orange Majestic Orioles # 78 BP jersey: When I walked into the Baltimore Goodwill, three orange Orioles jerseys greeted me. I considered snapping up all three to sell, but since I haven’t started selling yet, I stuck with just one.

New 2009 Peyton Manning Reebok Pro Bowl jersey: One of those garish jerseys they wear now in the Pro Bowl. Tags still attached. Hopefully I can sell it for a tidy profit.

Tan Cole Hahn boots: I knew clothes horse Matthew would want these.

Wood Duck: Matthew picked this out, and now he proudly displays it in his room, with other wood animals. he’s asked me to look for more.

Grey Dropkick Murphys Tee: Bought it for myself, but Will claimed it as his own, even though it’s a large.

White Dress Shirt: I wasn’t happy with my white dress shirts, so I nabbed another one.

Khaki Shorts: Needed for the Washington trip

Hiking Shorts: I like these best.

Assassination Vacation: After passing up this Sarah Vowel paperback once, I couldn’t the second time. Plan on reading it at the beach.

The Last Jihad: Been on the lookout for Joel C Rosenberg books, and I found his first one. Now I’m looking for the third in his series.
