Sunday

Ian Anderson and Ozzie.

For game two Pache traded his fancy socks for solid royal.

Sunday brunch: eggy boy with bacon.

RANDY JOHNSON  [SABR Bio] won more Cy Young Awards than any other Hall of Famer: AL 1995, NL 1999, 2000, 2001 & 2002 (unanimous). When pressed by a reporter for an answer, Nolan Ryan predicted that Johnson would be the next dominant pitcher, i.e., the next Nolan Ryan. Interview 01-May-1992, after Ryan’s 7th no-hitter. He didn’t make it to the majors until he had turned twenty-five years old, yet still won 303 games. Pitched until he was 46.

FRANK ROBINSON  [SABR Bio] is the only player to hit 50 doubles in a season in the 1960s: 51 in 1962 for CIN. Robinson was awarded the PMOF on 09-Nov-2005 by President George W. Bush. Robinson was the youngest of his mother’s ten children. She moved them all to Oakland when Frank was just a toddler.

Nice skyline view at GT's Chandler Stadium.

Dodger Stadium in 1962. I've driven past this ballpark,
just just can't get the feel of the topography,
or where it's situated in the city.
