Young Mr. Young Takes the Heisman

Glad I watched the Heisman presentation. I suppose Bryce Young was most deserving. Turns out he ran away with the vote. Always interesting to see the order of finish.

Looking forward to next weekend's father/son tournament, which features the return of Charlie Woods.
Better than average article, proving how much better Herschel was than Jerome Bettis. See? I'm not only one.

Also how Herschel was one of the four best running backs in Dallas Cowboys history.

FRED MERKLE  [SABR Biohad the most at-bats in the National League in the 1910s: 5,113 AB from 1910-1919. He was the first player with six runs batted in, in one inning. - on 13-May-1911  He played in five different World Series, but never a winning one - in 1911 w/NYG; 1912 w/NYG; 1913 w/NYG; 1916 w/BRO; 1918 w/CHC.

Great story about the time the late Norm McDonald's senseless ramblings actually saved Courtney Thorne-Smith.

Binged on movies this weekend, starting with the star-studded "How Do You Know". Owen Wilson played a relief pitcher for the Washington Nationals, but there was only one "baseball" scene in the entire movie. Cool that the bullpen coach was played by Jim Bouton.

Nats320 -- A Washington Nationals Blog: The Movie Shoot

Conspiracy Theory, with Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson. My kind of weird.

Lost in Translation: also my kind of weird. Two Americans all alone in Tokyo. Bill Murray sings. So does Scarlett Johansson.

Playing It Cool, a movie I had forgotten I had Watched. Not that great.

I never really thought about Fight Club being a movie. Matthew said I needed to watch it, so I did.
