Thursday: long day. Left out about 8:30 am for Charlotte with the entire family. First stop was a coffee shop, then the mall, unfortunately Charlotte's version of Phipps Plaza. Even so the clientele was much more diverse than years ago. Good people and sneaker watching. Then up northeast of downtown to The Optimist Food Hall for a late lunch. Kinda like Krog Street Market but less cramped. We were all starved, having each breakfasted on one leftover Bojangles bacon egg & cheese biscuit. Long drive home via Concord. Got back at 5:30. Plenty of family and townspeople to visit with. I wore some new sneakers to the mall yesterday.Today I feel like I need a hip replacement. Not much support from those shoes. Been watching Boston Miami, but turned it off and hit the sack.
Took a walk round town.
