SEC ACC Uni Rankings

Fans got AI to rank the SEC and ACC unis, which differ slightly from my tastes.

SEC: Bama, LSU, UGA

ACC: Miami Clemson

The top nine SEC teams have good looking uniforms. My own ranking.

Bama classic

LSU great stripes

UGA classic

Texas simple classic

Oklahoma simple classic

Auburn great stripes

Arkansas simple classic

Tennessee simple most of the time

Ole Miss great stripes

Texas A&M

Kentucky

Florida

Miss State

South Carolina head to toe garnet is bad

Missouri too much black

Vanderbilt too much black

The top five ACC schools look good, because they wear classic uniforms. Like the SEC, a team can look good or bad depending which particular uni set they wear. Bad = black or dark pants, colored masks. Not sure all these helmets are accurate depictions.

Clemson simple and classic

North Carolina pretty good

FSU almost classic

Miami almost classic

Pitt almost classic

Duke needs to ditch the black

Virginia Tech

Georgia Tech too many combos

Virginia bad fonts

Wake Forest too much black

NC State too much black

Boston College bad fonts

Louisville too much black

Syracuse used to have nice unis

Hank Aaron once appeared on Happy Days, where he performed the tomahawk chop.

LEFTY O'DOUL   [SABR Bio] was the first pinch hitter in a major league All-Star Game. In the 1933 ASG, MLB's first and O'Doul's only, NL manager John McGraw lifted catcher Jimmy Wilson, putting in O'Doul to bat. He then did what Wilson had  done in the third, grounding out. Before going out on defense, O'Doul was replaced by future Hall of Famer Gabby Hartnett. Hartnett struck out in his only at bat. Yellow Horse Morris, Bruce Ogrodowski, Chicken Hawks, Willie McCovey and he are all buried in the same cemetery. These five, plus 15 other former major leaguers have found their final resting place in the Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma, California, just south of San Francisco. O'Doul pitched for the Yankees in 1922 but only for 16 innings.. He wasn't on the World Series roster. He had also pitched for them in 1919 & 1920. In 1923, he pitched for Boston.
