Like many participants, the Crumplers would’ve had a better race time had they not stopped so often to take selfies. It’s a wonder they weren’t trampled by the ten thousand runners behind them when they stopped to take a photo at the finish line, disobeying the race officials’ repeated commands to keep moving.

Will’s high school classmate Kelly Arps finished 19th among all women in the 25-29 age group. Kelly is Kara’s older sister. The top thousand finishers receive special PRR mugs.

David Murphy finished in the top 24% of his age division, in the top third of all men, and in the top 23% overall,
