We enter August two-thirds through the bobblehead season and I grow weary. As my collection approaches 170 (plus several more to trade) my storage spaces are bursting at the seams. My son no longer wants me to leave them to him in my will. With college tuition looming the temptation to sell increases – in fact I've already posted some on eBay. But momentum carries me forward, along with previously arranged trades.
This month my plan is to attend three games and collect at least four bobbleheads: Gwinnett Glavine, two Smoltz's (Atlanta and Gwinnett), and the Brewers Bob Uecker "Statue" bobblehead. The one bobble I'd like to trade for is the Red Sox' Fred Lynn, and maybe the Smokies Pat Summitt, but at this point I'm more of a seller than buyer.
