Clutch Culbertson Strikes Again

Another clutch play by Charlie Culbertson Sunday afternoon. The Marlins loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the 9th, down one run. In left field Charlie charged in, caught a line drive in the air, then fired home to nail the runner trying to score from third.

Barney often barks at violence happening on TV, like when Mayhem breaks a window on the insurance commercial. When Dallas Keuchel squared to bunt, the Marlins' corner infielders charged in to cover - something Barney did not like.

Several Reds players went sleeveless this past Saturday,
creating a buzz that carried over to Sunday's MLB Futures Game
and the MLB All Star Game festivities.

The Washington Nationals paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of their franchise, which debuted in 1969 as the Montreal Expos.
I didn't know Satchel Paige went 6-1 in his first year with the Indians.
In Flushing the Mets had Jerry Seinfeld throw out the first pitch
to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his show's debut.
Jerry, dressed like his bobblehead, first threw his trademark sportcoat to the ground, a move he once performed on his show.

After a full windup similar to Luis Tiant,
Seinfeld wheeled and threw a strike - sidearm!
Afterward Jerry joined his former guest star
Keith Hernandez in the booth.
