Modeling at Piedmont Park

Evidently Anna did a little modeling for High Country Outfitters, up the hill from her Ansley Mall store at Piedmont Park. A beautiful day outside. 

Last night reliever Luke Jackson picked up the slack, entering the game in the second inning to earn the win. The Braves offense continued to hum.

Been listening to an excellent New York Times bestseller, Where the Crawdads Sing. Highly recommended. Reese Witherspoon is working to make a movie out of the novel.

Long day driving to Macon and back. Dark. Wet. Traffic. Stopped for an early biscuit at Hardees, and a late biscuit at Chickfila. Picked up my father and went to see my mother. My sister and I connected her cell phone to her phone, and I showed my mom some tricks on her cell phone.

Got back to my father’s house as it was starting to rain. He wanted his roof blow off, so in the drizzle I scrambled up the ladder with my electric blower and extension cord, blowing off the slippery slanted roof. Gonna be sore tomorrow. Later my father and I got a new battery for his car key. 

On the drive back I grabbed a milkshake. Rush hour traffic. Stopped by four thrift stores. Bought a Glavine Hall of Fame bobblehead for 79 cents. Couldn’t pass it up. 

M cooked fish tacos. Ceil has her small group. Working from home tomorrow.

In the season opener against Seattle, Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo booted high kickoffs down to the one yard line, near the sidelines - as instructed by his coaches, in order to pin the return man deep in his own territory, and possibly fumble.

In game two in Dallas, Koo was instructed to kick the ball deep into the end zone, keeping the ball out of the hands of the excellent Cowboy return men. It's rarely discussed, but kickoffs are almost always kicked to a certain spot by design.
