Flower Child

Spent the day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden with the fam.
One of our favorite sculptures was the tortoise and hare working together.
Will pointed out the Japanese Maple that ten years ago he had pruned and planted in our yard.
Venus flytraps.
We were all carrying around flowers because the Botanical Garden had them left over from an event from last night, and they were giving them away.
Afterward we ate up the street at Little Rey, at the corner of Piedmont and Cheshire Bridge.

OZZIE SMITH [SABR Bio] was a teammate of Eddie Murray at Locke HS in the Watts section of L.A. Smith then played for Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California and Murray stayed home, attending Cal State L.A. Ozzie is the first shortstop to be named MVP of a postseason series other than the World Series, the NLCS in 1985. In his final All-Star game, he replaced the eventual Hall of Famer who had idolized him. In 1996, Smith replaced Barry Larkin at SS for the NL.
