Tech Loses Again

Tech did not show up yesterday to play Ole Miss. I was worried they might gain negative yardage for the day. Had their third punt blocked. The Rebels led 14-0 after 5 minutes, 21-0 at the half, and 42-0 by the end of the 3rd quarter. In their last four games against Power 5 opponents Tech has been outscored 183-10. That's an average score of 45-3. Geoff Collins looks like he has given up. Still cashing those checks, though.
Dawgs won big. TE Brock Bowers scored three TDs. Who was the best QB on the field? Stetson has played better against Bama than the great Spencer Rattler did against UGA. The Oklahoma transfer came into the game ranked 100th in the nation in TQBR and came out ranked 108th. GT's Sims dropped to 100th. Stetson rose from 8 to 5.
Clemson struggled offensively in the first half against Louisiana Tech, leading to calls for the freshman Klubnik to take over. Next week the Tigers travel to Wake Forest for a much tougher test.

Ceil wore sneakers to church this morning. I fit in with my East Cobb middle-aged white guy kaikis. Saw Danny Downing and Margaret Dudley. Heather Swilley led singing. She kills it.
Braves wore their Los Bravos jerseys Friday. They won their 90th game, surpassing last year's win total. After returning from injury rehab after missing the past 2-1/2 months, Ozzie Albies broke a finger Saturday night, and is lost for at least the regular season.
Saturday morning golf with Paul. Made perhaps my best contact ever with a 5 iron on the 8th hole. Also chipped it in on nine. When we finished a guy asked if we'd left him any birdies out there. I replied "Nine!"
Friday night's movie selection: time travel romance.
After golf I headed to the Cobb County Fairgrounds of the annual Cobb EMC meeting. Might have to go back when these concession stands open up.
Alaska had bad flooding 50 years ago? I though climate change was a recent thing.
