Scooted over to SunTrust this morning
to pick up the Mike Foltynewicz bobblehead.
Left home at nine, parked at the usual place,
walked to The Battery, and arrived at ten.
Interesting character rocking a red Dale Murphy BP jersey.
Caught him coming and going.
He actually stole a glance at my 1969 jersey.
No batting practice. Day game after a night game late in the season.
The Brave got out and threw.
The Nationals tossed a football and ran pass routes.
Dude in the white shirt got it for free at the Xfinity Rooftop,
as part of the Art in the Park t-shirt series.
He was a friend of Eric Newman's.
Since the gates opened at eleven, there was a relatively small crowd.
With little to do I checked out the photo op with Braves minor leaguers.
On my immediate left is Dilmer Mejia, whose flowered jersey I posted last week. Next to him is pitcher Ian Anderson.
The Braves employee below didn't know who they were.
At the far right below is third base pheenom Austin Riley.
Not many Nationals jerseys.
Saw two Atlanta Crackers t-shirts.
Big kid.
If Bryce Harper leaves town there will a ton of obsolete jerseys at thrift stores.
Red, white, and blue.
Babe Ruth. Behind him Freddie has a nice cap.
Brick of the day: Terry's father.
Wore my wool AllBirds sneakers to SunTrust park for the first time. Super comfortable but not really the best for long walks up and down hills. With Tech, Georgia, and Clemson all kicking off early, I really didn't want to stick around another hour just for the game to start. Wise decision, as the Braves issued a record 14 walks in their 7-1 loss to the Nats.
