Sept 4 Braves / Red Sox

I secured my ticket last March for this matchup with Boston, the best team money can buy. Though a guaranteed sellout, the Braves tried to draw as many Atlanta fans possible by making the Tuesday after Labor Day a bobblehead giveaway.

I wasn't the only Braves fan to wear Boston Braves gear.

Dude in the white Braves jersey below wore the same cap as me. 

Lots of action on the balconies of the Omni Hotel, and at the pool.

Backpack guy was in his same position in line at the Chop House Gate.

Early on Braves all-star rightfielder quieted the raucous Red Sox fans by taking away an extra base hit.

With the huge crowd I didn't feel like fighting my way up to my seat in the upper deck, so LJ and I stood behind the left field bleachers.

Before the game I spotted legendary usher Walter Banks (#10) working the early-birds. Banks was wearing his authentic Boston Braves jersey. He gave me a thumbs up on my Boston cap and Milwaukee jersey.

Lots of demonstrative Red Sox fans, but the Braves fans upped their game and often out-cheered the Boston faithful.

Our vantage point was right next to the Chevy display, where I watched a fan get his picture taken in the photo booth. Looked so good I tried it for myself. Tried to turn so my jersey could be seen. 

Brick of the day: the hitting guru.

I try to wear a different pair of sneakers to every game,

but the black Hauraches, black socks,

and shorts probably wasn't my best look.
