Not a bad day to catch a Braves game. Since I had to walk from my faraway parking spot, I wore my Hokas.
Never saw the lineups being added. This at 11;30 am, just after gates opened. Her excellent penmanship gives her job security. It was Clemson Day at the park. Plenty of Tiger fans wearing orange, and these special ticket caps. Kids received a Braves cap.
Season ticket holders received a bobble and pin.
Teachers with special tickets received a Braves satchel.
Max Fried received an ovation on his journey to the bullpen
to warm up before the game.
Thinking there might be batting practice,
I settled into a shady seat in centerfield.
Braves won. Duvall homered.
So did Albies, in the RaceTrac home run inning.
Max Fried got another hit, and scored a run.
Had a bunch to carry: two Aaron/Chipper bobbles, a Rome McCann bobble I'd traded for, a shirt from the Clubhouse Store, and Teacher Appreciation special ticket Braves satchel. A busy day at the park.
I checked out the last day of the Hank Aaron Exhibit, across the street from the ballpark. Missed out on the cap giveaway. Got in two good walks, to and from the ballpark to my parking space.
