Last year there were to be several bobbles produced, including Albies and Acuna "Braves Win!" connecting bobbles, a special ticket silver slugger triple bobble, and a Brian McCann bobble. Will we see those bobbles this year?
The more creative a bobble is, the more popular it will be (and more valuable).
Blooper being Blooper
2021 Braves HOF inductee Bobby Dews
Freddie Freeman MVP
Freeman's son Charlie
The Freeze racing Paul Byrd
Max Fried headfirst slide
Luke Jackson Star Wars
Melancon bullpen catch
Phil Niekro HOF
Austin Riley diving tag
Mike Soroka 2019 All Star
Ron Washington, perhaps as a combo bobble giving Freddie a low five (wearing a mask).
There have been so many recent Albies and Acuna bobbles (and Freeman, but he won MVP), that it would be good to take a year or two off from those guys, and distribute bobbleheads of other players for a change.
The Cardinals often issue a series of Tuesday night mini bobbles, honoring a past championship team. The Braves could have a series of Brian Snitker mini bobbles, one for each of the Braves minor league teams he managed: Anderson, Macon, Durham, Sumter, Myrtle Beach, Greenville, Mississippi, Richmond, and Gwinnett.
You can only give away so many bobbles of older players, and a Niekro tribute bobble is in order for this year. There have been plenty Aaron and Chipper bobbles, several Cox and Murphys, and a couple Eddie Mathews. Hard to do Dusty Baker while he's still managing another team. I'd like to see other past favorites, such as...
Rick Camp July 4 HR
Rico Carty 1970 batting title (with wallet in back pocket)
Tony Cloninger 2 grand slam game
Ralph Garr's head on a Roadrunner body
Bob Horner 4 HR game
Ernie Johnson player/announcer double bobble
Mark Lemke 1991 NLCS MVP
Rabbit Maranville Braves HOF
Leo Mazzone rocking bobble
Crime Dog Fred McGriff in a trench coat
1969 pitching coach Satchel Paige
Pascual Perez in a car on 285
Smoltz ironing the jersey he's wearing
Spahn & Sain double bobble
Ted Turner ostrich race
Bob Uecker picking up a ball at the backstop
Last year Gwinnett was set to give away an Austin Riley Hunting bobblehead. I'm not a fan of that slow-running refrigerator guy they have there. I'd rather see Gwinnett and Rome issue bobbles of prospects (and mascots - kids love 'em).
Ian Anderson and his hair
Chopper (Gwinnett)
Christian Pache
Roman (Rome)
Romey (Rome)
Roxie (Rome)
Manager Matt Tuiasosopo (Rome)
Drew Waters
Tommie Aaron (Gwinnett retired number)
I'd love to see Atlanta, Gwinnett, and Rome have more cap and t-shirt giveaways. Socks and ties are fun for Father's Day, and perhaps scarves for Mother's Day. My favorite kid's giveaway is the backpack clip (I'll trade you a 2019 Blooper clip for the 2021 clip!).
