Dawgs Tigers Jackets Win

Once again the Dawgs overcame several obstacles to beat Kentucky. Temps in the 20''s this afternoon in Lexington. Everything seemed to go the Wildcats way in the second half, until a dropped TD pass and missed field goal caused the comeback bid to fall short. I guess the super cool black uniforms and  shiny silver helmets weren't able to work their magic for the Cats.

Fresh off their win at GT, Miami looked below-average in their loss at Clemson. The Tigers gonna have their hands full next Saturday night against SC.

Tech upset mighty UNC in Chapel Hill. Dashed the Heisman hopes of Heels QB Drake Maye. GT head coach Brent Key has beaten more ranked opponents in 7 games than Geoff Collins won in three years.
Tennessee looked and played like Clemson, wearing those orange helmets and white uniforms against South Carolina. The Gamecocks all-garnet unis worked their magic against the Vols.

At UCLA and early in his career with the 49ers, Bill Kilmer was quite the runner - until he was seriously injured in an automobile accident. Looking at him late in his career with the Saints and Redskins, you would have never known it. Kilmer was in the same 49er backfield with YA Tittle and John Brodie. It was after his pass reception against the Vikings that Kilmer fumbled, the ball picked up and ran the wrong way by Minnesota defensive end Jim Marshall.

Saturday breakfast. Ceil has been making a lot of omelets lately.
Anna is spending an extra night in Athens tonight.
