Alumni Weekend

Scored tickets to this afternoon's Braves game, but couldn't find anyone to go with me. Asked (in order) Anna, Matthew, Don, David, Will, Buddy, and Rob. Should've tried Joe, Jim, Rob, Drew, and Bruce. Sat with coworker Cal (above left) and his wife, behind several boisterous buddies.

This is Braves alumni weekend. Last night Chipper threw out the first pitch to Francoeur, and the Braves erupted for twenty runs.

Today the gates opened at one, with chances to meet former Braves players. Might've been nice to get a few photos, but I wasn't feeling it. After lunch with Rob at Righteous Que I grabbed a drink, found a sweet pair of addidas Propheres at one store and a nice Braves cap at another. Still made it to my seat 30 minutes before first pitch, thrown out by Bob Horner.
Speaking of first pitches, in the bottom of the first Ronald Acuna slammed the first pitch over the left-centerfield fence.
During the pitching change the four Braves infielders stood in a row next to each other, watching Minter warm up.
Austin Riley is hitting the ball to all fields.

Wore my new Pumas to the game.
Cal's wife wore her old Chuck Taylors.
Acuna's accoutrements really bring out the yellow in the old tomahawk.

Also wore my new flex-fit cap and Donaldson home jersey.
Anna helped take care of Winny this weekend.
