ESPN College Gameday

Knowing I would be downtown after 8 am Saturday morning, stopping by ESPN College Gameday would be an easy adventure. After parking on the footprint of old Atlanta Stadium the walk over was short. I wandered around a little and found a spot not far from the front before the show started.

Lots of fans, cheerleaders, and band members from the two schools set to play: Acorn State and North Carolina Central State. I stood in the back of the front section, behind the cheerleaders. Later the Georgia State cheerleaders joined the pack.
Cool building name: 565 Hank.
Herbstreit took up his position early, and worked his phone.

After working from home last season,
it was Lee Corso's first day back on the set.

Tribute to the late Bobby Bowden.
On the side set.
On the other side, Reese Davis led a discussion
on historically black college & university football.
The Bear was in residence.
The Georgia State Stadium served as a decent backdrop
for the show (and my pictures).
I figured I'd be easy to spot if I wore my UGA jersey.
