Norman Insider

Found out the story of Joel Norman winning the Braves Stolen Base Challenge last week. The choir that was to sing the national anthem was running late, so Joel was called in as a replacement. At the last moment the choir was able to make it. Joel asked if he could race the Freeze. Instead they let him participate in the Stolen Base Challenge. He beat the clock, and won a $100.00 gift card to a bagel place.

News: this coming Monday August 23 before the Braves/Yankees game, Joel will be singing the national anthem.

Lang shared a great story about Braves manager Brian Snitker, on his long coaching journey up and down and up the ladder of the Braves organization. Written by Chris Ballard, who authored One Shot at Forever, the story of Snit's high school team.
