I like the show Young Sheldon not for Sheldon, but for the rest of the cast. Pretty bad that the main draw is the grandmother. Annie Potts has always been a favorite. They give her plenty of friends, from Craig T Nelson and Reba to the squirrely bald guy from Princess Bride.
Great that everyone talks Southern. I love the accents. Some similarities between me and Ceil and Sheldon’s parents. Sheldon’s siblings are fun. Not a fan of the preacher. Too much of a caricature. Have I said all this before?

Man it is only Thursday. Seems like it should be Friday.
Worked until six on Wednesday evening. M cooked chicken parmesan, with noodles in a tomato sauce, and steamed broccoli. Very good. Watched White Collar after cleaning the kitchen.
Met my other friend Reid at the YMCA again this AM. Fifty minutes of weightlifting. Sore, but a good kind of sore. Haven’t lost any more weight this week so far, but have “worked out” three times. Planning on tomorrow and Saturday AM as well.
Not much else going on.
GEORGE SISLER [SABR Bio] was the first player to have 200-hit seasons in both the National League and the American League. Playing for the AL’s St Louis Browns (SLB) Sisler passed the 200-hit mark in 1920, 1921, 1922, 1925 & 1927 with totals of 257, 216, 246, 224 & 201 respectively. Then, toward the end of his playing career with the NL’s Boston Braves in 1929 at age 36, Sisler led his dismal team with 205 hits. Sisler starred for Coach Branch Rickey at the University of Michigan (colors: Maize & Blue). George was the first professional baseball player to grace the cover of Time magazine, in the March 30, 1925 issue before the magazine itself was even two years old.

Perhaps I'm missing out by not spending time on Wordle. Nothing better than a good puzzle to keep the brain buzzing. Question: why don't people post when they lose?
