Georgia Tech is tearing down their old Edge Athletics Center built in the 1980’s, at the northeast corner of Grant Field, and building a new athletic department building. Hopefully they’ll make the north stands more symmetrical at the same time. Construction will start in November, after the last home game.
Monday: left work at 5:15. Stopped by the post office and thrift store on the way to church for small group. Three guys were missing but was good discussing Paul’s trials in Acts 24 and 25. Many similarities to present day, including slimy lawyers. Home to help M with a project.
Up early this AM to run 3.75 miles. First three miles all under 11:50, an average of 11:43, if my math is right. Need to run four on Thursday. Plenty busy. Had to cut the grass after work. Then Winnie got sick. Then it was time for bed.
How to be more confident: Take action. Have vision. Don’t be afraid to fail. Take care of yourself. Push yourself. Think positively. Keep learning. Ask questions. Don’t think you know everything. Don’t feel like you need to be heard. Don’t try to please everyone.
