The Braves win the World Series and Braves fans still complaining and nit picking every little thing, five games into the season. I’m blocking people with the dumbest comments. Might go the game tonight. W&MC & Shivonne might go with me.
Nothing wrong with a good milkshake. I need to remember to cash in my Chickfila points for a milkshake. Speaking of milkshakes, in conjunction with the NCAA tournament I won a free small dessert at Andy’s Frozen Custard. Gotta get that on the way home this week, or maybe at lunch.
Several folk from EZGo are coming in this week. Might get dragged out to lunch, to the nearby Medlock Tavern. Good grub there.
All this is a lot of activity considering my back is still hurting. Its better today, as long as I don’t move much. Second straight day not wearing socks. Wearing loafers today. Not quite as comfortable as my Crocs loafers, which I wore yesterday.
Yesterday Ceil took Okie home. Winnie slept all afternoon. Winnie is so mean to Okie, but last night she cuddled up next to me on the couch.
Outlaws who have paid the price for running afoul of one of Augusta Nationals rules. Don’t let this happen to you.
Interesting article about the life of a wife of a cruise ship engineer.
Sammy Baugh talking about playing minor league baseball against the obdurate Ted Williams.
I need to pray more for the challenging / burdening things that will be happening in the near future, remembering Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose.”
I missed that backstage at the Oscars, Tyler Perry had joined in praying over Will Smith. Editorial: should Smith be condemned or redeemed?
WILLIE KEELER [SABR Bio] ascribed his success at the plate to “…hitting them where they ain’t”? Keeler had the highest career batting average for games all played in the 19 century, batting .381 from 1892 through 1900. He once started a 44 game hitting streak beginning on Opening Day 1897. That same season he had a streak of two or more hits in eleven consecutive games.
