Braves won. Across the parking lot the Hawks lost. Gonna be tough series for the Hawks. I watched parts of the Hawks, since I don’t get Braves games.
Same old for me with Ceil at the lake. Work and Winnie. Later I watched The Kominsky Method. Funny guest appearance by Morgan Freeman. Also grown up former child actor Haley Joel Osment, who first played Forrest Gump’s young son. Caught up on email. Read my Vince Dooley book. Vince met his wife at church in Auburn. He led a Marine platoon. One soldier under his command later rose through the ranks to become the top Marine commander.
Later I watched a spooky Twilight Zone-type movie “The One I Love”. A vacationing couple encounters better versions of themselves. Hence the title. Besides the couple, only counselor Ted Danson appears on screen. You gotta pay attention. Don Head might like it.
This morning I had Winnie outside before 7 am. Should say Winnie had me outside that early. Saw a familiar neighbor out walking his dog. I usually see him as I’m leaving for work. Winnie didn’t see the dog on their first pass, but when they came back by the guy stopped to say hello. His dog wanted to come sniff Winnie, but every time the dog came close Winnie would turn and run. Winnie likes to listen for dogs and birds and other sounds. She tried to chase a bird yesterday.
PHIL BRADLEY [B-R Bio] was the first Seattle Mariner to hit double figures triples in a season. Had 10 3B in 1987, tied for second in the AL that year. - Ans. On 29-Apr-1986, Clemens struck out 20 Seattle Mariners. Four of those belonged to Bradley, including the 20th. He broke Buck’s leg. Future manager & broadcaster Buck Martinez had his leg broken on a play at the plate, while tagging out both runners on 09-Jul-1985. Bradley, the first runner, bent Martinez’ right leg back, breaking it. Gorman Thomas was the second out. Watch it here.
Denison: show our culture why biblical morality is best for all of us. Moses reminded his people, "God commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day" (Deuteronomy 6:24). God's will for each of us is "good and acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:2). Ryan T. Anderson is correct: evangelicals are not merely seeking the "right to be wrong." His excellent article offers non-religious evidence that the Bible is right with regard to abortion, sex-change procedures, and preserving female athletics.
Denison: Satan’s four temptations: (1) undermine the truth, relevance, and authority of God's word. (2) make biblical morality and those who proclaim it deeply unpopular. (3) recast evangelism as "intolerant." (4) replace the biblical vision of a future focused on heaven with a secular vision of a future focused on earth. Respond to each of these deceptive ideas with the truth of God's word.

Lebron is changing his jersey number next season, from 23 to 6 – in conjunction to his new remake of Space Jam. What a joke. Better than Jordan? Give me a break.
