In his first six years Kirby has already won 4 of the big 6 bowl games: the Rose, Orange, Sugar, and Peach – something only five other coaches have done.

Denison: Andrew Sullivan summarizes the thesis of the new book Stolen Focus by Johann Hari: “Create a throw-away consumeristic civilization, break families into ever smaller units, add a tech revolution, online addiction, economic precariousness, breakneck social change, endless work, and the collapse of religion and meaning, and yes, people will go a bit nuts. They become depressed; they seek out escape through opiates or meth; they disappear down rabbit holes of online fanaticism; they seek meaning through work or fame; they tear each other down with glee; they lose the skills for family, friendship, constancy, discipline, and love.”
