Not the greatest times around here. Drove 21 hours and were just 1-1/2 hours from the Outer Banks, but didn’t make it over there. Should’ve made more of an effort. Didn’t seem like much of a vacation, and we’re both kind of blue. Going back to SC this weekend for a wedding. Ceil has something the next weekend as well.
Sunday School, where two guys said I looked worn out. Took a nap. Not much else. Watched some of the Canadian Open.
Ran 4 miles at the gym this AM then returned home to work. First day back from vacation and I’ve had computer problems all day. Will probably return to office tomorrow so I can get some work done. Coworkers out with covid: boss Rodney, Shane, Steve, Shawn, Josh, and John. Rachel, Mike, and Taylor are all on vacation, and Brad, Angie, Sherryl, and probably Renee will take the opportunity to work from home. Since my part of the office will be vacant, I’ll have the place to myself.

DEREK JETER [SABR Bio] hit the first ever major league home run in the month of November. The game began at 8:23 P.M. on 31-Oct-2001, but the clock struck midnight while Jeter was in the batter’s box. Jeter was the first shortstop to have two-hundred-hit seasons in consecutive years.
