Quiet New Year

Quiet New Years. Was in bed by 10:30 pm. Collards and black eyed peas. Watched football and the movie "The Out-Laws - filmed in Atlanta, Buckhead, Brookhaven, and Stockbridge.

Slept late. Golf course was closed. Spent the morning cleaning upstairs. Ceil brought me an eggy boy.

Legendary Braves traveling secretary Donald Davidson was known by everyone in baseball. His career started early, as the Boston Braves batboy. Above with Hank Aaron. Below with secret agent Moe Berg.

JIM FREGOSI [SABR Bio] was the last living position player from the original expansion Los Angeles Angels. Fregosi was 19 when he broke into MLB with LAA in 1961. He passed away 14-Feb-2014. Born 04‑Apr-1942. He still holds their record for career triples, with 70 over his 11 seasons. He hit another 8 after he left them. Fregosi played for 11 seasons, 1961-1978. He managed from 1978 to 2000. He and All-Star Gregg Jefferies attended the same high school, two of many notable alumni of Junípero Serra HS in San Mateo, California. He graduated in 1959 and was inducted to the school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. Originally they were the Los Angeles Angels then in 1965 became the California Angels, while Fregosi was still with them. In 1997 they became the Anaheim Angels then, in 2005 the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Since 2016 they have again been the Los Angeles Angels.

Spent the day posting more sneakers for sale on Poshmark, including my new Reebok InstaPump Furys (above). Some are cheaply priced, others a little higher. Currently have 32 items for sale: thirty sneakers and two caps. Need to post a few more caps, and a few more pairs of shoes.
