Great Games in Braves History

Question of the day: what was the greatest game in Braves history? Kids today seem to only know about Soler’s World Series home run. Also Hank’s 715th. Rick Camp’s home run on the 4th of July.

Tony Cloninger’s two grand slams.

Horner’s 4 home run game. Niekro’s no hitter. Mercker’s no hitter. Furcal’s unassisted triple play. Marquis Grissom squeezes the last out. The fire in the press box. First game at Turner Field. The Sid Slid game.

Shivonne and Millie are spending the night tonight. Should be fun. Except I will sleep on the couch.

Supposedly the hot new pizza place is Mr. 01 Pizza, in the new Sandy Springs town center. Soon to open on Lenox Road. Of course coworker Daniel has been there. Sounds like it will be in my future. Looks too fancy to spend the big bucks for toddlers who’s rather have Cheerios.

Browns have new brown helmets and uniforms. Packers have cool new “leather” helmets and navy jerseys that resemble 1923. Patriots to wear their classic red white & blue Pat Patriot uniforms three times this fall.

Not sure why, but cutting the grass last night after work really wore me out. Maybe it was the 90 degree heat. And I had worked out before work. Got stung or bit on my rear end not long after starting. Still, I am at level 3 above. Leftover spaghetti for supper.

I think M put on a Brad Leoni video, then we watched Bryson shoot a 50 with some social media influencers, who contributed several shots along the way. Later Bryson was playing with LA QB Matthew Stafford before I went to bed. Stafford wasn’t entirely consistent, but could sometimes smash his driver. Used several of his shots as well.

CONNIE MACK [SABR Bio] was a catcher for the Washington Nationals of the NL that existed from 1886-1889.  He led the Players League in HBP with 20 in 1890, the league’s only year of operation. He led the league in catcher fielding percentage in both 1891 and 1892 while with Pittsburgh. On May 24-May-1893, Mack started the 2-5-6 TP, Connie Mack C to Denny Lyons 3B to Frank Shugart SS. He was christened Cornelius Alexander McGillicuddy, but went by “Connie Mack” even as a young boy.

Article: how to interrupt someone who won't stop talking. I’m leaving this headline up on my computer screen all day today, just for fun. To see if anyone gets the hint. Man am I passive aggressive, or what?
