The House

Lazy day around this Airbnb that we're staying in, the one in the middle above. Ten bedrooms, but two bedrooms have bunk beds. One bedroom on the first floor, which is above a garage that can hold 5 cars. We can fit 4 more cars outside in the driveway.

Four more bedrooms on both the second and third floors. The 4th floor has one bedroom plus a sitting area, and a balcony. Our balcony overlooks the marsh and out on to the ocean (below). Plus there's an elevator.
There's a small infinity pool out on the deck just below our second floor balcony, where the girls have swam a bunch.
Supposedly this house, plus the two sister houses on each side, are each worth $1.7 million (or was it $3.7 million?).

Friday: We had a good day at the beach. Same routine: grits eggs sausage bacon and toast. Spent a good long time down at the beach, from 10-5. Shivonne spent the entire time at the beach - without a nap - and later fell fast asleep around 8 pm.

Supper was Low Country Boil, cooked out on the driveway: shrimp potatoes sausage corn on the cob, and onions. I ate everything except the shrimp. After supper we had birthday cake and two types of homemade peach ice cream.

With the rain we weren't able to go to the beach on Saturday. M helped cook a big Mexican feast. Afterward we played games, including a spelling bee. I won the first round, then Matthew edged Anna in the second round. That home school education continues to pay off.

A&C attend church mostly at the Smyrna location of Passion City Church, where Caleb's brother in law is on staff. Sometimes they go to the Passion City Church there off Lindbergh, since they live there in Peachtree Hills. They need to get more involved somewhere.
