How Good Is Tech?

Still hard to know how good Tech is. They beat Clemson, who lost to Syracuse, who lost to Duke. Took everything they had for GT to beat Wake Forest. Next up: Virginia Tech on October 11th. No slouch.

Same with the Falcons. Not sure how great it was to beat Washington, who was missing their QB and top WR. Falcons beat the Vikings, who don’t appear to be that good either. The Falcons 30-0 loss at Carolina still stings. Hopefully QB Michael Phenix is getting his sea legs, and will continue to improve. So many offensive weapons. RB Robinson had a big game, as did WR London and even TE Kyle Pitts - who is having a career year. Must be in the last year of his contract.

Watched a chunk of the Jets@Dolphins. Another matchup of one team in all black vs the other in all white. At least it was the Jets wearing the old Sack Exchange throwback uniforms. Not my favorite, though they are the best of the Jets current uni sets. Shame the Dolphins aren’t wearing their classic throwbacks. Instead Miami is wearing their new all black Nike “Rivalry” unis (above). Similar to the Marlins all black uniforms. Never thought I’d see the Dolphins in all black. Looked like the Falcons, Ravens, Panthers, Eagles, Tech, Mississippi State, Michigan, San Diego State, Texas A&M, South Carolina, etc etc etc.

Couldn’t pass up a $2.50 pair of East Cobb Lacrosse Club shorts, with cute Hedgehogs on them. Probably should’ve opted for the more subdued $3 hedgehog shorts for sale on line.
