Gaylord

Saturday’s UGA@Mizzou game has been cancelled. Also OleMiss vs Auburn, and others. Ohio State vs Maryland. A chink in Justin Fields race to the Heisman.  I wouldn’t be able to watch much of the Masters or football this weekend anyway.

Saturday night GT is an underdog to Pitt, who is getting their starting QB back.

Pretty sure I had a long night’s sleep last night, not getting out of bed until the 5 am hour. I need to get a sleep app again, to better see how I am doing.

Back in the office after working from home for two days. Ceil went to her women’s ministry last night. I had eaten all the leftover meatloaf for lunch, and wanted to save the stir fry for today, so for supper I fixed grill cheese English muffins. Watched The Weakest Link.

After work I am headed to Cumming for the first Hot Stove meeting of the year. Johnny decided to have it in spite of the virus. There’s room to spread out and we can wear masks. Not sure how many will attend.

We landed a bunch of new business for our major customer – almost 10% growth.

GAYLORD PERRY [SABR Bio] is the only multiple Cy Young Award winner with a brother who also won a Cy Young Award. He won CYAs in 1972 & 1978 for CLE & SPD, the first ever to do it in each league. In 1970, his older brother Jim, won in his 12th season in the majors  The only time in Gaylord’s 22-year MLB career that his team went to the World Series, he didn't qualify for its postseason roster. Pitched 43 innings for NL pennant winner 1962 SFG. He hit at least one home run in each of four consecutive seasons. Hit one home run in 1969-72, the first of which was historic.
