Anna's Best Life

For St Patrick’s Day, Anna dressed up like a leprechaun at work and was featured in a long video on her company’s social media. She facetimed Caleb, and he can be seen in the video shaking his head.

New guy was moved near me at work. Super nice. Coaches his daughter’s softball team – but he is the quietest guy on the planet. Never says anything. I can go all day and forget he’s there, though he’s right there in front of me. I’ll say something to him, and instead of responding, he just nods. He’s not arrogant at all, just quiet. And I am one of the quietest guys in the office, but I’ll speak to my team when needed, or to the guys about sports, or show the girls pictures of dogs and kids. Like Goose.

SCHOOLBOY ROWE [SABR Bio] won 16 straight in 1934 plus his first 8 in 1935, but lost his final decision of 1934. After returning from military service, he re-invented his pitching style to account for advancing age and accumulating minor injuries. Rowe joined the Phillies rotation and became a “junkball” pitcher. Rowe’s double digit wins in 1946-48 helped propel the 1950 Phillies’ Whiz Kids to the 1950 NL pennant, showing a previous perennial loser that winning was possible. He was a decent-hitting pitcher and even became the first player to hit a home run to center field in the Polo Grounds - in batting practice before a 1933 exhibition game.
