Dad's Obituary

Here’s my dad’s obituary, along with the email my company sent out to Atlanta employees. I sometimes wondered  what “expression of sympathy” was sent to grieving families. In my case the company sent a Dreamland BBQ dinner for ten people. Nice.

Spent the day on the phone with lawyers, accountants, and bankers working to sort out my dad’s estate, so I’ll be able to pay the bills and take care of my mom. Gonna take a lot of work and time to sort things out. Toward the end of the day I went for a walk down by the Chattahoochee with my friend Rob - a needed hour of wise counsel, encouragement, and discussion.

Dock must’ve sent word to his dad Neil. I received an email from him. Today is Neil's birthday.
