DAVE WINFIELD [SABR Bio] made the Hall of Fame and played more than 20 years in the majors, but led MLB only once in an offensive category: intentional bases-on-balls, with 24 in 1979 for the SDP. Hiis Hall of Fame teammates included Rollie Fingers, Reggie Jackson, Rickey Henderson, Willie McCovey, Phil Niekro, Eddie Murray, Kirby Puckett, Roberto Alomar, Gaylord Perry, Rich Gossage, Ozzie Smith, Bert Blyleven and Jack Morris. Winfield holds the record for most doubles in All-Star competition.

DENISON: The US Air Force Academy is instructing cadets to refrain from calling their parents “mom” or “dad” and to use words that “include all genders.” A US government panel recommended all adults under the age of 65 be screened for anxiety disorders and depression. Anxiety and depression continue to escalate in America. If Christians suggest the problem is sin and separation from God, we are dismissed as outdated, irrelevant, judgmental, and dangerous to others.
