Marion Ross was much more than Richie Cunningham's mother. Currently 94, her credits include SpongeBob Squarepants, the original Sabrina, Around the World in 80 Days, Perry Mason, Rawhide, The Outer Limits, The Brady Bunch, Airport, Mission Impossible, Grand Theft Auto (with Ron Howard), Night Court, The Drew Carey Show (as Drew's mother), That 70's Show, Gilmore Girls, King of the Hill, Family Guy, two Scooby Doo movies, and Guardians of the Galaxy. . She has her own statue in Minnesota. The statue has its own Facebook page. Not sure whatever happened to Richie's older brother.
Shivonne got her first pair of Chuck Taylors.
Retiree BBQ on Tuesday. An old coworker is coming up from Florida. We're having dinner together Monday night. He used to live in the Cosmopolitan condos on Lindbergh on the other side of Piedmont. Man he and his wife would've loved Taqueria. I need to make a list of retirees coming back. I reached out to Dock's dad but he can't come. I can sneak you in if you want. JT Morris, Mel, Tarquinio, Born, Sherry, Tingle, Judy, Mary E, Featheringham, Gustavson, Jim Davis, Joe Moyer, Sam, Irma, Randy – 27 retirees in all.
Worked past 6:15 Thursday evening. Ceil fixed a beef and broccoli dish in the wok. Jeopardy. Young Sheldon. That Todd show.
Friday: up early to lift weights. Thought about golfing again, since I am the only team member in the office today. Got a bunch done.
This year I have been accumulating more stuff than usual, almost at a pre-covid level. Some due to the wedding, some golf, some Braves. I am selling more stuff, so hopefully it will even out.

Ted Williams once said CASEY STENGEL [SABR Bio], Babe Ruth, and Kennesaw Mountain Landis were the three most important people in the history of baseball. Stengel's Yankees faced Williams' Red Sox many times, most successfully. Referring to catchers Chris Cannizzaro, Choo Choo Coleman, and Sammy Taylor for the 1962 NYM , "I got one who can throw but can't catch, one who that can catch but can't throw and one who can hit but can't do either." He could have been three of the other four catchers they used that year: Joe Pignatano, Harry Chiti, Joe Ginsberg, or Hobie Landrith. Stengel won 37 World Series games as the Yankees manager from 1949-1960. As a player with the Giants, Stengel beat the Yankees with game-winning home runs twice: with a 9th-inning game-winning inside-the-park home run in game one of the 1923 WS (first Yankee Stadium postseason home run).
