Falcons finally broke out their throwback uniforms.
Nice they wore them against the 49ers, who wore basically the same unchanged uniform back when the Falcons wore theirs.
Packers wore their all green unis from the 50’s in their loss to the Jets, who wore black pants.
This weekend the Dolphins and 49ers wear throwbacks. Also Penn State.

92. 48.0 Darren Grainger Ga State
96. 45.7 Jeff Sims GT
100. 43.2 Spencer Rattler SC
101. 42.5 Brennan Armstrong UVA tonight’s GT opponent, lauded by the announcers as one of th most dynamic QB's in the ACC. Promptly threw a pick six, but GT missed the PAT. And GT QB Sims botched a scoring opportunity by throwing a red zone INT into the end zone. Not the greatest of games.
After work yesterday I finished cleaning out the garage, and moved a second car inside. Quite the accomplishment. While I was at it I raked the yard, as it had filled with leaves again since I had raked on Sunday afternoon. Ceil cooked roast beef for dinner. Also broccoli and roasted potatoes, onions, and sweet potatoes.
When I was going to bed last night Winnie all of a sudden went crazy. She pawed my arm and I looked for blood, but it didn’t break the skin. When I take her outside and she gets distracted, she forgets all about why she’s out there. She spent the night downstairs in her crate, but didn’t complain.
I followed the Grizz game on social media. GT plays tonight. Also new episodes of Young Sheldon and In Todd We Trust. Too much TV.
Ran 2-1/2 miles at the gym this morning. Could’ve gone longer but it was time to go to work.
I have been working from home on Wednesdays, but next week we’re having BBQ at work, so I may have to break down. Potato salad, Veggie Burgers, BBQ beef tips, and baked beans. I need to early vote, perhaps on a Saturday or Wednesday morning. Monday AM I have a physical, so maybe before that.
Usually I rarely need Advil thank goodness. When I do I can take one Advil and be okay, with or without a diet Mtn Dew. The Kroger brand has been in short supply lately, so I’ve given up looking for it. Don’t need it anyway.
Life ain’t fair. Some people do tough jobs and get the glory. Others have it rough but most people never know. Usually most people are wrapped up in their only world to see what’s going on with others around them. Guess God only gives you what you can handle. Some people seem to need the glory. Others can get by without getting the attention.
JIM THOME [SABR Bio] hit more home runs in a single season than any other batter for Cleveland - 52 in 2002. He hit forty or more home runs in a season for three different teams: 40, 49 & 52 for Cleveland, 47 & 42 for Philadelphia, and 42 for the White Sox. Alex Rodriguez (SEA, TEX, NYY) and Nelson Cruz (MIN, SEA, BAL) are the others to turn this trick. Thome also hit 25 HR in 2010 for Minnesota, and three for Baltimore, but zero as a Dodger.
